Privacy policy

Short version: we don't use cookies, we don't require sign-in, and we don't try to identify you. Everything below is the detail.

What we collect

• Nothing you type unless you submit the "Was this page useful?" form — in which case we store your feedback (yes/no + optional text comment) tied to the article, not to you.
• Rate-limit hash of your IP — for anti-abuse on the feedback form only. Your IP is hashed with a rotating salt; we cannot reverse the hash to your IP. Deleted every 5 minutes.
• Anonymous, aggregated page-view counts via Plausible Analytics — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal identifiers.

What we do NOT collect

• Cookies (we don't set any)
• Your name, email, phone, address
• Your health status, symptoms, or diagnoses
• Your location beyond the country level (for aggregated stats)
• Behavior across other sites

Who we share with

Nobody. We do not sell, rent, or share user data. Feedback submissions are only accessible to our clinical reviewers.

Where we host

Cloudflare Pages (edge network including servers in Nairobi and Johannesburg). Cloudflare's privacy policy also applies for the edge caching layer.

Third-party embeds

We embed no third-party content on article pages (no YouTube, no Facebook widgets, no external ads). External links open to sources in a new tab; those sites have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

Since we do not identify you, we cannot look up or delete "your" data on request. If you submitted feedback and want it removed, tell us the approximate submission date and article; if the comment contains identifiers we can remove that row.
