About EHP

The Ethiopia Health Portal (EHP) is a free, trusted, plain-language health information site for 130 million Ethiopians. NHS.UK-style, in five languages (English, Amharic, Oromo, Tigrinya, Somali), designed to work on low-end phones and 2G networks.

How we work

• Every article is written or reviewed by clinicians working in Ethiopia
• All content is grounded in WHO, MoH, and EPHI guidelines
• Built to load fast on weak networks — pages are small and work offline
• No sign-in required, no fees, no ads

Non-goals

• Not telemedicine — we do not diagnose or prescribe
• Not a patient record — we don't hold your data
• Not a replacement for a health worker — always see a real clinician when you can
